The Outreach Committee is committed to fostering understanding of the project management discipline in the Central Indiana community.  More specifically, following is the vision of the Outreach Committee:

  • Corporate Outreach: To understand the project management needs of corporations and to seek how the chapter can address those needs.
  • Community Outreach: To foster public awareness of the discipline of project management and of the existence and significance of the PMI Central Indiana Chapter.
  • Academic Outreach: To understand the needs of Central Indiana educational institutions and to address how PMI can be utilized to expand awareness and educate students on project management.
  • Professional Organization Outreach: To understand synergies with other area professional organizations and build partnerships to advance project management.

  • Manage projects to design, plan, coordinate, and execute outreach events.
  • Assume leadership roles and responsibilities in an important area of the chapter.
