PMI Central Indiana Chapter has selections of educational and professional development events relating to the discipline of Project Management. Our 2-hr Monthly Program Meetings include dinner and a Project Management presentation lasting approximately 1.5 hours. Our full-day Training Program includes breakfast, lunch, and a Project Management training session lasting 6 - 8 hours. - Teaming for Results, presented by Peak Strategies - 11/06/2008
- Recognize team dynamics and four leadership styles, and how they plays a part in cohesion and conflict
- Analyze the commitment of the team and why it is important
- Recognize the 5 causes of dysfunction that can impede team performance and productivity
- Explore issues and solutions to team saboteurs, attitudes or conflict
- Introduction to motivational concepts: inspiring results and connection!
- Learn the communication skills that not only impact a project's success, but also enhance trust and results
- November Program Meeting, presented by PMI CIC - 11/13/2008
- Rupert Boneham, of Rupert's Kids, (and Survivor fame) will be the speaker
- NOTE: This meeting is the SECOND Thursday in November!
- The bylaws vote and officer elections will be held at the annual meeting this month.
- This meeting will be held at the Oak Hill Mansion in Carmel.
- Remote locations in Muncie and Kokomo are available.
- Registration available until 11/10/2008.
- December Program Meeting, presented by PMI CIC - 12/11/2008
- This meeting will be a joint meeting with APICS; the presenter is Gerry Dick
- NOTE: This meeting is the SECOND Thursday in December!
