| Responsibilities |
Specific responsibilities with estimated % of total job time ( ) are as follows:
1. Directs and coordinates program activities while exercising control over personnel responsible for specific functions throughout the life cycle phases of program (10%)
2. Directs product design teams through program phases required to meet functional, performance and qualitative standards within outlined processes (NPD Process)(15%)
3. Ensures engineering expertise is applied in the areas of tooling, prints, specifications, product maintenance and vended components.(10%)
4. Develops sources and manages all financial and human resources necessary to properly execute programs in support of the CRS business objectives (15%)
5. Manages all external sources including, but not limited to industrial design, outside engineering/design and tooling suppliers. (15%)
6. Ensures Customer and Company requirements are met including cost, quality, timing, and other related aspects of programs(15%)
7. Documents and monitors program objectives and ensures countermeasures are initiated to correct unfavorable variances.(10%)
8. Brings changes and suggestions from each project and sub-project to help improve and develop best practices. (5%)
9. Ensure that each New Product Development (NPD) program is planned, presented and approved by the Program Approval Committee (PAC) in support of the Portfolio Road Map. (5%)
