Title Web Solutions Consultant

Job Summary A Web Solutions Consultant specializes in the development of data-driven, web-based applications for our clients using a variety of tools and technologies. The digitalKnowledge Web Solutions team focuses on designing and developing custom applications for our clients to meet a variety of business needs including: e-commerce, workflow automation, content management, and system integration, to name a few. To be effective on this team, a consultant must possess excellent problem solving skills, the ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies, and a commitment to producing complex, high-quality solutions.
 
Responsibilities

Bachelor’s degree
(Computer Science, Management Information Systems or IT majors preferred)


GPA: 3.0 or higher


> Preferred expertise in one (or all) of the following areas:
1. General web development skills: HTML, JavaScript, CSS, user interface design
2. Application design and development with Microsoft.Net or Java platform
3. Database experience: SQL, database design
4. Ability to gather and analyze end-user requirements to feed the application design process
5. Demonstrated passion for learning and applying new technologies


 
Qualifications Strong written and verbal communication
Self-sufficient and able to take on several tasks at one time
Ability and desire to teach and communicate with others
Possesses both teamwork and leadership skills
Ability to relate or empathize with end user
Strong problem solving abilities
Strong development skills using a variety of Microsoft technologies
Demonstrated ability to lead small development teams.
Willingness and ability to mentor clients and other developers on dK team.
Strong interest and willingness to learning about new industries
