Job Summary
The Practice Lead will lead the development of a Tier 1 strategy/process consulting practice in the Indianapolis marketplace. He/she will provide leadership in the areas of business development, recruiting, project delivery, and client management.

Key Job Responsibilities
Ideal candidate has 15+ years of professional experience and is local to the Indianapolis community. Four key areas of focus for this individual are:
• Process/Strategy Consulting - Candidate should have a background with a Tier 1 consulting firm having sold and delivered process and strategy work. Candidate should have deep skills in business process improvement. It would be helpful if the candidate has also delivered operational level strategy work.
• Business Development - Ideal candidate will have relationships at area Indianapolis clients. Candidate must have experience selling consulting services.
• Recruiting - Successful applicant will have deep connections into the ‘ex-Big 5' network in the Indianapolis area to draw qualified consultants for the practice.
• Delivery and Client Management - Candidate will have 10 plus years of delivery management experience across a wide variety of engagements. Projects will vary in size and complexity and candidate must be successful with range of client needs.

Qualifications and Experience
Strong business process acumen with deep experience in one or many of the following areas:
o Supply Chain Operations (Procurement, Manufacturing, Distribution, Planning)
o Order Management (Order to Cash)
o Finance and Accounting
o Human Resources
o Customer Service
o IT Operations
Ability to conduct operational and process reviews to assess process definition & understanding, organizational alignment, KPI alignment, IT systems alignment, control points and overall process effectiveness / performance.
Ability to document processes and baseline current performance including development of value stream maps.
Ability to lead business process improvement (BPI) projects leveraging multiple improvement techniques including Lean, Six Sigma / DMAIC, TQM, etc.
Experience developing and implementing effective & value-added business process design and process improvement solutions, as well as help companies manage through change process.
Experience at consolidating / standardizing business processes as part of shared services initiatives or operational consolidations.
Experience at establishing performance management frameworks for organizations including balanced scorecard development, metric definition and report development.
Familiarity with Business Process Management (BPM) solutions and how they can be leverage to help companies model and manage end to end processes across their organization.
Organizational development experience around helping firms migrate to process-based organizations and focus on BPM and operational excellence.
