Typical automation project management responsibilities include the following and more: •Develop project structure and resources necessary for success (e.g. business case, project plan, resource plan, estimate, schedule, governance, sponsorship, communication plan, etc.). •Provide leadership and be accountable for meeting approved scope, schedule and cost plans. Develop appropriate project metrics. •Use Brillig project management methods and principles to execute the program for quality, speed, and value. •Assist in communications with project steering teams and report progress against plan. •Sustain effective site/customer relationships through project implementation.
• BS degree in engineering (Associates with 10+ years experience will be considered) • Minimum of 7 years delivering automation projects • PMI PMP certification required (candidates in process of obtaining PMP by end of 2008 will be considered) • Must have good project management skills including project metrics and their application • Experience delivering projects in regulated industries is highly desirable • Knowledge and experience with Computer System Validation is highly desirable • Understand software development methodology • Understand commissioning and qualification • Must be fluent in MS Project • Must have good communication skills • Must have good teamwork skills • Results oriented, self starter, problem solver and willing to do what it takes to deliver quality projects
