About the position
Title Senior Project Manager
 
Location Carmel, IN
 
Job Summary Overall project management of project life cycles related to Information Technology initiatives within Allied Solutions.
 
Responsibilities • Project meeting facilitation
• Project Scheduling and Cost Control
• Managing deliverables
• Project Risk Management
• Escalation of issues
• Maintaining project documentation files
• Developing and presenting recommendations to project sponsors
• Prepare information with appropriate internal/external constituents such as status reports and issue logs
• Report and coordinate the work of outside business partners and vendors, etc.
• Lead business analysts assigned to projects
• Other duties as assigned
 
Qualifications • BS Degree
• 5 years of overall project management experience
• Two+ years IT project management direct exposure as project lead or project manager
• Ability to handle multiple complex tasks with a strong sense of urgency and handle stress in a highly volatile environment.
• Experience managing multi-million dollar Technology Integration projects from conception to completion.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Leadership skills to lead/coordinate complex projects
• Ability to effectively and professionally present information in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and/or issues; strong ability to deal with problems involving several variables in non-standardized situations.
• Excellent oral, interpersonal and listening skills essential.
• Strong computer skills with MS Project 2007, Excel, Visio and other MS Office products.
• Knowledge of Lotus Notes software applications a plus.
• Prefer PMP certification
