Title Jr. Project Analyst
 
Location Indianapolis, IN
 
Job Summary Our client on the Northeast side of Indianapolis is looking for a Jr. Project Analyst on a contract to hire basis. This person will serve as a member of a project team and will provide project planning and scheduling consulting services to defense clients. The Jr. Project Analyst will be responsible for the following tasks:





 
Responsibilities

• Build competencies in the areas of basic consulting, assignment performance, and business transformation.
• Attend program reviews, meetings, and deliveries, develop schedules, and provide Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) documentation and Earned Value Management performance management reporting.
• Consult with the government and provide project planning, scheduling, and controls support and recommendations. Document and track action items.
• Work with government organizations to redesign and manage the transformation of business processes.
• Support implementation activities and interact with client personnel and senior leadership to accomplish project objectives.
• Apply experience with professional oral and written communications in support of meetings and briefings.
• Interpret cost and schedule variance using accepted tools and methodologies. Perform analysis of the schedule and prepare for potential changes from the baseline plan.
• Assist with the development of conclusions and recommendations, write reports, and assist with client presentations.


 
Qualifications Basic Qualifications:
• 2 - 6 years of experience with program or project management support (specifically scheduling)
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (must be proficient with Excel); Experience with Microsoft Project is a plus
• BS or BA degree
• Experience with project implementation, developing baseline schedules and statuses for schedules, and conducting risk analysis of schedule dates
• Must be able to pass a Federal Government Background investigation in order to receive Federal Government Security Clearance. A federal investigator will extensively review your criminal, employment and credit history. YOU MUST HAVE FAVORABLE CREDIT TO PASS. Must be a U.S. Citizen

• Ability to exhibit flexibility, initiative, and innovation in dealing with ambiguous, fast-paced situations
• Ability to interact with multiple teams, manage client relationships, and be a key contributor in proposal efforts
• Possession of excellent data gathering, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Possession of excellent communication skills
