Chapters enhance the ability of PMI to advance its mission and objectives by encouraging local businesses, universities and professional organizations in the chapter area to embrace Project Management Professionalism in their activities. Chapters work to enhance the spread of Project Management Professionalism through meetings, educational programs, and outreach events that are designed to promote awareness, knowledge and understanding of Project Management principles, techniques and tools.
